It is a powerful GIS [Geographic Information System] allowing users to use a wide range of Vector Map Layers as well as Raster Images. The first versions of Streets Ahead were developed to address the needs of the Landcare movement in regional Australia, in collaboration with the Woady Yaloak Catchment Group, the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority, Golden Plains Shire and Alcoa Australia and we thank these organisations and people for their support.=/ ,ƀ It was soon apparent that Streets Ahead would also provide a toolkit for many other businesses and people who would appreciate the use and value of geographic analysis in their day to day and strategic activities. With its GPS link module Streets Ahead also provides a simple and inexpensive way for travellers - whether on highways, by yacht, or offroad to record their trips and attach photographs and notes to objects on the map layers.)& 0 ) m0ƘWe are committed to continuing improvement of the package and are therefore keen to hear of innovative uses and receive any other suggestions through ideas@ospreycomputing.com.auWe Q rƀ_G; :ԀSetting up Streets AheadLicence Agreement & CopyrightUser Support< 1 DMap Display5e & Map DisplayJ ~ ^ 㱂a Also see Toolbar, Drawing tabs and LabelsThe Mapg ( Two map displays are available.
